Douglas Moo on “Works of the Law” (Romans 3:20)

Note: Virtually all of the text here is taken from the 2nd edition of Douglas Moo’s Romans commentary (NICNT). I haven’t attempted to provide proper quotation marks or ellipsis for citation purposes. The map was made for my personal use and I thought I would share it here in case anyone else might find it helpful to understand some of the issues and how Moo sees them.

Simply clicking on the image won’t zoom it in enough for the text to be legible. If you right-click and select “Open image in new tab” and then zoom in the text should be legible.

[Update: I went back to check my chart of Moo’s discussion of “works of the law” and saw that something happened to the picture, such that it no longer zooms in enough to be legible. I’m not sure why (perhaps Medium doesn’t store a hi-resolution image past a certain period of time?), but I’ve uploaded the image to Imgur and hopefully you can zoom in sufficiently to read the chart.
